Early in the morning, we depart from Alanya with our group transfer to Antalya Airport for our SunExpress flight to Van (08:00–09:55). After enjoying the famous Van breakfast, we visit Muradiye Waterfall before continuing to Doğubayazıt, accompanied by magnificent views of Mount Ararat.
After breakfast, we visit the magnificent Ishak Pasha Palace before continuing to Tuzluca Salt Cave. Following our visit, we drive to Kars and check in to our hotel.
Today we visit the remarkable Ancient City of Ani, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Weather permitting, we continue to Çıldır Lake, where guests may enjoy walking on the frozen lake, experience a traditional horse-drawn sleigh ride, or simply admire the beautiful winter scenery.
New Year's Eve Celebration
Guests wishing to join the New Year's Eve celebrations in Kars are kindly requested to inform us at the time of booking. As availability is limited, reservations are arranged in advance.
On the first day of the new year, we explore the historic centre of Kars before enjoying some free time for shopping and personal exploration. In the evening, we head to Kars Railway Station around 20:00. After settling into our private sleeper compartments, our unforgettable journey aboard the Touristic Eastern Express to Ankara begins.
Throughout the day, we leave the train during its scheduled long station stops to explore the region before rejoining our carriage and continuing our journey.
Our visits include İliç & Kemaliye Dark Canyon, Divriği Great Mosque & Hospital (UNESCO World Heritage Site), and the Historic City Centre of Sivas.
Early in the morning, we arrive at Ankara Railway Station (scheduled arrival at approximately 07:30, subject to TCDD operational conditions). After disembarking, we begin our group transfer to Alanya, marking the end of our unforgettable New Year journey.
Guests are responsible for the proper use of their assigned compartment and all train equipment. Any damage caused by misuse will be the responsibility of the guest.
For safety reasons, the use of electric kettles, immersion heaters, portable stoves, cooking devices, or any other high-power electrical appliances inside the compartments is strictly prohibited.
All participants agree to comply with the current TCDD railway regulations and the instructions of train staff throughout the journey.
