A Day in Nature: Alara

This time, our “A Day in Nature” trip takes us to the beautiful Alara River — a perfect place to enjoy a summer day in nature. Located approximately 40 km from Alanya, just below the historic Alara Castle, we’ll spend a relaxing day by the cool waters of the Alara River. After entering from the Alarahan side and parking our vehicle, we’ll walk approximately 300 metres along a short trail to reach the river. Although the trail is not long, it is rocky and has some ups and downs, so we recommend wearing comfortable, non-slip walking shoes. Once we reach the river, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy. You can swim in the refreshing waters of the Alara River, walk through the water (the riverbed is rocky, so please make sure to bring water shoes), explore the surroundings, read a book, or simply relax by the river and enjoy nature.
