Upon arrival at Ankara Esenboğa Airport, transfer to the hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day will be free for guests to relax or explore Ankara at their own pace.
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin a full-day guided tour exploring Ankara’s most important historical, cultural and symbolic landmarks.
The programme includes a visit to Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Türkiye. During our visit, we will see the Road of Lions, Ceremonial Plaza, Hall of Honour, Atatürk’s Mausoleum and the museum sections.
We will also explore Ulus Square, the historical heart of Ankara, surrounded by important buildings from the early Republican period. The First Grand National Assembly Building, now operating as the War of Independence Museum, will be visited to discover its historic chambers, documents and exhibits relating to the Turkish War of Independence and the establishment of the Republic.
Another highlight of the day will be the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, which presents thousands of years of Anatolian history, from the Palaeolithic period and the Hittites to the Phrygians and Urartians. Its outstanding collection includes sculptures, tablets, reliefs, archaeological artefacts and objects from the everyday lives of Anatolia’s ancient civilizations.
We will enjoy a walk and some free time in Hamamönü, known for its restored Ankara houses, traditional architecture, historic streets and artisan workshops.
The programme also includes Ankara Castle, one of the city’s oldest settlement areas, offering historic streets and panoramic views over Ankara.

Early in the morning, we depart from our hotel and travel towards the Çorum region with our professional guide to explore some of the most important centres of the Hittite civilization in Anatolia.
At the Alacahöyük Archaeological Site and Museum, one of Anatolia’s most significant archaeological settlements, we will discover its different cultural layers, Early Bronze Age royal tombs, the Hittite Sphinx Gate, carved stone reliefs and archaeological finds uncovered during excavations.
The Ancient City of Hattuşa, capital of the Hittite Empire and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an extensive archaeological area reflecting the city planning, defensive systems, religious life and royal culture of the Hittites.
Within Hattuşa, we will see major landmarks such as the Great Temple, Büyükkale Palace Area, Lion Gate, King’s Gate, Yerkapı, the Postern Tunnel, city walls, rock inscriptions and other important remains from the Hittite period.
Located near the ancient city, the Yazılıkaya Open-Air Sanctuary is one of the most important sacred sites reflecting the Hittite belief system. Its rock surfaces feature remarkable reliefs depicting gods, goddesses, kings and mythological figures.
Subject to the programme schedule and opening hours, the Boğazköy Museum may also be visited. The museum displays tablets, seals, ceramics and various archaeological artefacts discovered during excavations in Hattuşa and the surrounding region.

Guests who pay the full tour amount by 20 August 2026 can benefit from the discounted price of EUR 460 per person.
The remaining balance may be paid in three instalments before the tour date.
The programme includes some short walks. Comfortable walking shoes and suitable clothing are therefore recommended. Guests should prepare according to the expected weather conditions.
The programme may be changed due to flight schedules, weather and road conditions, traffic, museum and archaeological-site opening hours or operational requirements. The order of visits may be adjusted by the guide and the agency according to the conditions on the day.
Although the programme is planned to include all listed locations, some museum and archaeological-site visits remain subject to opening hours, traffic, road conditions and the available time.
