About the event
Syedra, where ancient history and natural beauty come together in perfect harmony. Syedra Ancient City invites you on a journey back in time to explore its rich heritage and captivating ruins.
Marvel at the well-preserved structures dating back to the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods. Admire the grandeur of the city walls, temples, and amphitheatre, each bearing witness to the vibrant life of this once-thriving metropolis.
Perched atop a hill overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean Sea, Syedra offers breathtaking panoramic views that will leave you speechless. Take in the beauty of the surrounding landscape as you soak up the sun and snap photos of the stunning vistas stretching out before you.
We will take a photo and rest break on the historic Hercules bridge located on Sapadere road.
Sapadere Canyon, a hidden gem. Step into a world of natural splendour as you venture into the heart of Sapadere Canyon. Be mesmerised by the sight and sound of cascading waterfalls that dot the canyon's landscape. Traverse wooden trails and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the canyon.
This is an ancient city and canyon trip rather than hiking.
Museum card, sports shoes, comfort and sportive clothes, raincoat, snacks, water, and tea or coffee in thermos on demand. Please take your lunch with you or there’s a restaurant at Sapadere Canyon.
