One of the major productions of the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet, Verdi’s Aida will be presented in the magnificent atmosphere of Aspendos Ancient Theater. This opera, composed by Giuseppe Verdi, tells the story of the impossible love between the commander Radames and the captive Ethiopian Princess Aida. It promises a captivating experience with its music, period-reflective sets, and costumes.
Produced collaboratively by the Ankara and Antalya State Opera and Ballet Directorates, this performance will feature a grand artistic spectacle with a large cast including orchestra, choir, and ballet artists. The renowned Italian director Vincenzo Grisostomi Travaglini will direct this magnificent opera, with internationally acclaimed soloists Yoana Zhelezcheva and Walter Fraccaro in the leading roles.
